Le peintre a toujours gardé un atelier à Paris et la ville a nourri son inspiration, pour des paysages d'abord puis pour ses travaux d'arts décoratifs, en particulier des tapisseries.

Hugh Coltman est un chanteur et musicien anglais né en 1972. Il forme le groupe de blues rock The Hoax en 1991. Après la séparation de ce groupe en 1999, Hugh Coltman s'établit à Paris. Il joue sur scène avec le groupe Heez Bus avant de commencer une carrière solo en 2004 en commençant à écrire les chansons de son premier album, Stories From the Safe House, publié le 27 octobre 2008.
